Ingredients
  

Sausage and Potatoes

  • 1 lb ground Italian sausage
  • 4 medium russet potatoes peeled and diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • ½ medium onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions
 

Cooking Instructions

  • Brown the ground sausage and drain any remaining fat.
  • Add the ground sausage to a crock pot.
  • Place in the minced garlic, onion, potato, salt, pepper, and broth in the crock pot.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
  • Stir in the heavy whipping cream. Cover and cook on low for 10-15 minutes until the cream is heated through.
  • Serve warm topped with the parmesan cheese and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
