Bread and Sausage

  • 10 slices sandwich bread
  • 10 links cooked sausage

Egg Mixture

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • unsalted butter as needed

Preparation Steps

  • Roll each slice of bread flat with a rolling pin. Carefully cut off the crusts.
  • Place a sausage link at the edge of a slice of bread and roll up. Repeat with the remaining sausage and bread.
  • In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  • Dip each roll-up in the egg mixture, then pan-fry in a buttered skillet until all sides are golden brown.
