Equipment

  • frying pan
  • whisk
  • microwave
  • spatula

Ingredients

  • 4 large Eggs
  • 0.25 cup Heavy Cream
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 slice Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza
  • 1 tablespoon Salted Butter

Instructions

  • In a small bowl beat eggs, cream, and salt with a fork or whisk until well combined.
  • Heat an 8" frying or sauté pan over low heat. Chop the pizza into small ⅓" pieces and warm in a microwave for about 25 seconds.
  • Add the butter to the warmed pan and let it melt. Add the beaten egg mixture and gently push the eggs from the edges into the center as they set.
  • Add the pepperoni pizza and gently move the eggs in the pan until they are set. Remove from heat as soon as the eggs are at your preferred texture.
  • Divide the Pizza Eggs between two plates and serve.

Notes

This recipe calls for one slice of pizza, but you can use more or less. Thin crust pizza will give you more texture, while pan pizza will be softer.
